DOUG MAXWEL - PRESIDENT & CEO

Doug serves as the operational and visionary leader of VMC, provides personalized technical and industry training to our members, produces work by our members to bring in revenue, and provides direction and resources to support membership, client and partnership development.

Doug Maxwell has produced and composed music for Gladys Knight, Joan Osborne, Taylor Dayne, Judy Collins, Chaka Khan, Motown, Warner, EMI, Sony music, and CBS television. He has composed advertising campaigns for Oreos, Cheerios, Nabisco, and Sheraton Hotels and created music products for Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, The New York Mets, Yankees, Hallmark, Basic Comfort, Playboy Enterprises and the Ellen DeGeneres Show. He is a graduate of Yale University.

Curtis manages recruitment and development of talent, overseeing training, mentorships and all activities related to employment of our artists.

Musician and recording engineer, Curtis has over 6 years of experience in music and arts management, marketing, music supervision and business development.
